Thrust 01
Sustainable Bituminous Mixtures
Engineering low-carbon binders using industrial by-products and recycled materials.
Performance-graded asphalt binders with steel slag, RAP, plastic-waste additives, and warm-mix technologies. Verified through Superpave + Indian climatic protocols.
Thrust 02
Rheological Characterization
From master curves to time-temperature superposition — decoding viscoelastic behavior.
Dynamic shear rheometer studies, fatigue and rutting prediction, oscillatory thixotropy, recovery mechanics for modified binders and mastics.

Recycling & Circular Infrastructure
RAP, RAS, plastic-waste, and construction debris valorisation for pavement layers.
Closing the loop between waste streams and high-performance road materials — life cycle assessment, cost-benefit modeling, and durability mapping.
